Ski Across Michigan!

Bruce Training for the SAM

Join us on the SAM!

Support VESA and a marvelous school in Liberia as VESA team Skis Across Michigan

This February, follow Bruce as he assembles a VESA cross country ski-team to take on a challenge called “Ski Across Michigan'' (SAM). The VESA Ski-Team will ski approximately 200 miles from one of Michigan’s Great Lakes to another, pulling all gear required for this journey.

The SAM was inspired by the work the Lord is doing at Betty Memorial Institute(BMI) in Liberia, Africa.  BMI is ready to receive a regionally relevant vocational center.  Although all materials are available in Liberia to build this center, there is one obstacle; funding.  Enter the SAM.  VESA is looking for partners like you who will pledge support to the SAM Ski-Team.  It is our hope that some, if not all of the $150,000 needed will be raised for the Betty Memorial Institute Vocational Center.  You are even welcome to join VESA Ski-Team for this exercise and encourage your friends and acquaintances to get in on the fun(d).

If you’d like to make a pledge, please fill out the form below and we will keep you updated as SAM week approaches in February. Once finished, we will let you know how the VESA Ski-Team did! Thank you for partnering with us in this adventure, stay tuned!
